420 OUTRAGE: LIKE NO OTHER

The introduction of Boston Whaler's new flagship, the 420 Outrage, called for more than a simple catalog. I developed the concept, wrote the copy, and managed the design team for this elegant branding piece. > Read the piece

SURFACE PURSUITS

One of the perks of managing and editing Sea Ray Living magazine is getting to spend time with enthusiastic Sea Ray owners and then sharing their stories of life on the water. These boaters from Austin, Texas, were a delight. > Read the article

BondingAgentAd.jpg

BONDING AGENT

Ad copy for boat manufacturer clients can be a challenge; new products demand an explanation of key boat features, but features alone don’t necessarily capture readers’ attention. In this print ad for Sea Ray, I took care to weave emotional benefits into the product story. > View the ad

L-CLASS BRAND BOOK

As part of the launch campaign for Sea Ray's L-Class line of luxury yachts, I devised and managed the production of this oversized lookbook to serve as a gift for new owners and prospective customers. I also wrote all of the copy. > Look inside

HYERES, THERE & EVERYWHERE

A month-long bicycling trip through Europe culminated in this feature article for Sea Ray Living, capturing a slice of the boating life in Southern France. > Read the article

THE DARK KNIGHT MANUAL

Released in conjunction with Christopher Nolan's 2012 blockbuster The Dark Knight Rises, this richly illustrated, fictional manual provides fans with an interactive look inside the Batcave. I worked closely with the author, design and production teams, and licensor to develop the manuscript, select film memorabilia for reproduction, and hand-write Bruce Wayne’s musings. > Find out more

SeaRayLiving.jpg

SEA RAY LIVING MAGAZINE

Custom-published for Sea Ray Boats and distributed quarterly to more than 100,000 owners’ club members, Sea Ray Living captures the best of the boating lifestyle. For years I have been in charge of the publication, soup to nuts, wrangling contributors and writing a significant portion of the content. > Read an issue

TheDudeAbides.jpg

THE BIG LEBOWSKI KIT: THE DUDE ABIDES

This irreverent book-in-a-box is loaded with memorable quotes and trivia from the Coen brothers’ cult classic, along with fan-favorite items like a rug mousepad (to tie the room together) and a severed (rubber) toe. Watching the movie on repeat in my cubicle to gather ideas for writing the book was a definite perk. > See what people are saying

PeanutsCollection.jpg

THE PEANUTS COLLECTION

This fully-authorized, illustrated book was created to celebrate the 60th anniversary of the beloved comic strip. I worked on-site with Charles M. Schulz Museum curators and family members to select rare items for reproduction/inclusion as removable pieces. > Learn more
